Construction of notoriety: the “advertisement” To make itself known to the public in the 50s, IGOL associates with the attractive image of Miss France 1953. Egerie brand, Sylviane CARPENTIER promotes IGOL 2 Time Sport for scooters and 2-stroke engines, then IGOL Sport, lubricant for passenger cars. “Nothing equals IGOL …” she says in her many “advertising” messages. Finally, there is nothing better than exhibiting at trade shows to meet repair professionals and users. In 1955, IGOL is present at the Motorcycle show in Paris.
