Since its formation, IGOL INDUSTRIE has always placed a significant emphasis on the technical requirements of the industrial market.

It has always been the company’s philosophy to design its own products and develop unique technical fluids. Once those products have been developed, it has been necessary to ensure consistency of manufacture using proven raw materials and to provide specifications that are applicable and acceptable to the customer. Finally, following utilisation of the products, it is fundamental to provide informed technical support both internally and externally to develop an ongoing understanding of the product’s performance and capability.

The structure of IGOL INDUSTRIE allows the company to provide this complete package of services to its many and varied customers in the Industry.

Research and Development is provided by two distinct facilities. The first considers longer-term technology development including new additive preparations and product evolution. The second has been devised to consider the short term needs of the industry and provides a flexible approach to the formulatory modification scenario which has been created by the constantly changing health, safety and environmental requirements of the marketplace.

Quality control is closely integrated with Production and provides a constant evaluation of the complete manufacturing process from the input of raw materials through to the packaging and supply of the finished product.

Technical Service is offered both externally via customer visits by trained chemists and engineers and internally by a complete and separate laboratory facility (CANDRA) that can consider the monitoring of products in use, applicationnal evaluations, competitor analysis and any non-standard testing requirement.

In total, a complete service, and with a staff of highly qualified chemists and engineers working to both ISO 9001 and ISO 14001standards, IGOL INDUSTRIE has the ability to provide consistent, knowledge based technical answers to the increasingly complex requirements of the Industrial market.

Many of the current technology changes within the industry result from an increased pressure on health, safety and environmental issues and IGOL INDUSTRIE is actively involved in Industry initiatives with respect to Product Stewardship, Waste Disposal and raw Material Regeneration. There is an active interaction with Universities, Colleges and Medical Institutes where projects are initiated and experiences shared to gain a greater understanding of the various facets of the lubricants life cycle.
